I would like to add my voice to the subject - I would also like to see this mode specific - have been asking for it for years (ever since it changed from being 2 chars in SSB years ago).  Far too easy to make a mistake when logging then you have to grab the mouse and get back to edit it all -

Hello John, Having the extra length for CW is nice because it allows you to add things like 579C for a chirpy signal for 599K for a guy with key clicks (which happens WAY too often!). Yes, it takes some getting used to after 20 years of having the cursor automatically jump to the next field! --

It would be nice if Paul was able to implement a RST length limit and character checking for modes that have shorter RST than what it is now opened up to. Like back to a max length of 2 for ssb, 3 for cw. I'm kind of re training my brain but the number of times I have entered both sent/rec into
