If this is true it's nice.
I know. I believe that we should be trying to find a method of getting around this.
In the mean time, Mac users should be using a browser that actually believes that the
mac is a real operating system.
Until M$ bother implementing Java -> JS communication, there is NO reason to blame

The problem with your java-code is the following:
there is NO WAY GETTING IT TO WORK IN IE/MAC, since communication between js and java
is impossible.
i like your solution, it would be a very elegant way for doing this kind of stuff but
read the line above again.
making your solution the default

I've done it. I have been doing it for months. It is just that you guys don't like
java and as such my solution will neven be included.
Look at my afroapi distribution. It has automatic loading of required code and even
allows for loading code during page usage.
eg. I have a Cell object th

Thanks A LOT, with Michael's example, these are 2 nice ways for a thing I
was desesperated for.

As far as I know, such a trick is impossible in Javascript. If you try to
check a variable that hasn't been declared (using "if (myVar)"), you get an
error. I haven't found

The HTTP protocol has a request that includes a timestamp. If the files has
not been updated the server just replies that, without resending the whole
content.
If I was going to implement a webbrowser that would be the way that I would
do it. And I doubt that 500 programmers can be more stupid th

I think people misunderstand. The question relates to bandwidth efficiency.
If I use 5 library (.js) elements on my splash page, then reuse the same
elements on my main navigational page.
Do I have to download the same libraries all over
date updated signature, same host" I'll use the one
in cache?

If your making calls for .js files from multiple pages, do the following
pages know not to "redownload" identical files from the same host?
Before I waste time looking for an answer I'll query the DynAPI "mind-hive".
