Hmmm... it seems like this could be right as a workaround, but I'm using a style set in which I define font-size:12pt; Font size seems to be the same in both browsers but the trouble seems to be the space between lines that's taller in IE. Could it be a manner to control this with DynAPI or CSS

instead of focusing on what you don't understand, let's focus on what you do and build from there. Listeners are used to execute code when an event occurs.  Each event has a set of method corresponding to the events that is wants to listen for. The listener's methods are passed a paramater 'e'.
