wn animation code is easier, using layers to shift
between images, this is easier for browsers to do, and is faster then
displaying animated gifs..also better to controll animation speeds.

You'r probably overwritting the DynAPI's onload method.
There's a new workaround for this but only in CVS release. It will make it
possible to have your own onload event, and DynAPi simple hooks into it.

to things.. it wouldn't be that hard. So I encourage everyone interested in
this DynAPI to take mIRC (or other program) connect to an efn
e a much harder time getting
things to work cross-browser.. because browsers are very discouraging.

also when does the error popup? what system? because it's kinda strange that
no one else encountered the problem, while setclip/getclip are called with

It is possible inside other layers (so setHTML could work)... that's what

there are probably some "event layers" ontop of it (so images and text are
not being selected)
I'm not that familiar with the old stuff, so can't help you do the
modifications..maybe some one else can (or already has)

The problem is a ie5.5 "feature" (bug?) Empty layers won't catch any
events.. so you could also modify the old widgets by adding empty.gif files
into the empty event layers.. that should fix the problems you'r having
DynAPI2 has a build in fix for this.

Cameron's idea is actually good.. if we need alot of is.platform checks
when checking for Mac browsers, then it's alot easier to add 1 single
variable to check on, saving multiple bytes across the complete API.
