wn animation code is easier, using layers to shift
between images, this is easier for browsers to do, and is faster then
displaying animated gifs..also better to controll animation speeds.

I've attached some code I worked on a few months ago.. It only works in IE
(if I remember correctly) and works with a very dated DynAPI (included)
maybe someone can do something with this.

if your layer is called layer1, try renaming your var layer
differently.. might solve the problem (IE trips over it, so maybe NS6 also)

since I'm not updating anything on the dynapi lately, I don't know what the
problems are with the current release.. maybe some one else can take a look
at it.

the idea is correct, but instead of using a while loop I think it would
be "safer" to use a setTimeout function.

It seems to keep the browsers stable for a longer period, but eventually it
will most likely crash (just a DHTML or javascript hanlding problem I guess)
use
DynLayer.removeFromParent()
or more simple:
DynAPI.documents.deleteAllChildren() in the DynAPI.onUnload event

IS using DynAPi, only with Razor ontop of it (the interface engine) but all code
behind it is DynAPI2 :)
