I you are referring to my claims of memory leaks at www.richardinfo.com - I was WRONG. See, I CAN admit when I'm wrong. Scott > -Original Message- > From: Alex Chong [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Friday, May 11, 2001 12:15 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject:

Hi, I need help with two problems: First, I choose to receive Dynapi messages in Digested mode. But when I want to reply to an individual message within a digest, I dont know how. Secondly, there are a couple of messages that suggest that the memory of IE is caused by the way IE handles DHTML

How big of a problem is JavaScript related memory leaks in IE? We are developing a complex enterprise (web) application, and considering using DynAPI. Memory leaks and/or lack of robustness would be a serious concern for us. Thanks, Scott ___ Dynap

After doing some testing using my Win2K box, it appears the memory leak affects IE5.01 the most. Netscape 4.75 didn't seem to leak that much if any memory while IE seemed to leak more as I tried to delete objects from the page. This is an interesting outcome to my tests and I'm not sure what pat

Had a similar problem. The problem is with the browsers themselves. What happens is that they don't free memory well. You have 2 options. Use my FreeObj method that really frees objects (it's with my OOJS that no one commented about thank you all very much!!) or reload the page to a blank an

I'm building a web app that uses DynAPI v2 and I'm having a huge problem with memory leaks.  As I make changes, I have to reload the page quite a few times. After about 10 - 12 reloads, the browser has a 50+ MB footprint on the memory. I've tried setting the DynAPI.onUnload event to call Dyn
