I seemed to have the same problem a while ago when developing a site
using dynapi 2.5.7 but I just ended up using overlib for the tooltips
instead. but I guess I could have used the method Leif mentioned by
creating a layer and having that displayed onmouseover and hidden
onmouseout.

I had an idea about relative positioning, and
wanted to get some feedback...
Would it be possible to display a 1 pixel image in
a cell, then use a script to locate the coordinates of the image,
then plugin the position into the dynapi layer ?? Not sure about resizing, but
would this work
Alternatively I guess the problem (previous email) could be viewed as a
Netscape problemif I change the to
instead of being relative it works great on IE, but shows up at 0,0 on
Netscape.
Examples on sourceforge show position:absolute, but examples elsewhere

I renamed layer1 such that it reads

However that doesn't seem to make any difference.
It almost seems like it's a layers/divs/tables problem. If I put the
outsided of the it ends up in the correct vertical position, but
not in the cor

table (to act as an 'anchor'),
and then wrote a function to grab that position of that 'anchor'

the following piece of code is running well on NS4 and IE6 but
is not running on NS6. When specified within an event listener,
the window.close() function does not do anything !
What is wrong, is this a bug in dynapi ? (I'm currently using 2.56 with
dragevent.js patch), is this a bug
Saving only 0.5k on an image may not seem like much, but 0.5k (as an
example) over 50 images does add up, especcially for modem users.
