Thanks to everyone who replied.
I found that the solution sent by Stefano was the easiest fix and didn't
need any extra parts.
Thanks!

[E-puck-user] epuck batteries

2010-10-15 Thread Jenny Owen
Hi,
My university recently got a new batch of epucks, which come with the
batteries with cardboard on the positive side. Previously we'd only had
ones with black rubber on the positive end of the battery. The problem
is that these new batteries don't work in the epuck properly, they're
very slightly too short to reach both contacts and so don't reliably
power the robot.
My question is, how have people on the mailing list got around the
problem with these batteries, is there some cheap and easy fix?
Thanks,

Jenny
