The next EasyBuild conf call is planned for tomorrow, Wed Nov 21st 2017, 
at 5pm CEST,

* report on EasyBuild activity at SC17
* outlook to EasyBuild v3.5.0

--skip only works when you already have a module

Here's what you can do:

* run "eb --module-only R.eb" after editing the R easyconfig to use 
"exts_list = []" (i.e. no extensions)


* reinstate the list of extensions in the R easyconfig, and then run "eb 
R.eb --skip --force" to let EasyBuild skip already extensions and 
install the missing ones
