I'd like to add my 5cents.
The Nokia S-60 emulators are well known for their oddities. In many cases I
saw, it takes a while to get them working and then after, they are extremely
fragile.
Basically, you'll need to explore many possibilities, I'll throw in just a

Just a thought - are you obfuscating ? Althought different codes, I did
experienced symbian errors, depending on my ProGuard settings..
