Instructors are needed ( on a contract basis) to teach courses for the following areas: 1. Cultural resources and the interface with environmental planning processes. The focus is on the integration of cultural resource considerations with other resource planning and managing aspects as well as the relation to social impact assessment and societal value. Knowledge of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the Reservoir Salvage Act of 1960, and the Archeological Reservoir Protection Act of 1979 is helpful. 2. Environmental quality planning with special emphasis on assessment and planning procedures. Knowledge of NEPA and Water Resources Implementation studies required. 3. Air quality management with emphasis on developing Risk Management Plans (RPMs) under the Clean Air Act. Courses will be offered in cities across the U.S. with each course lasting from 1-3 days.
