Dear Ecolog-L listers:

Could I get recommendations on readable books on principles of evolution
and ecology in Spanish or English? If the book emphasizes agricultural
examples using insects and plants, so much the better.

Background: A while ago, I participated in a dissertation committee. The
candidate, an experienced colleague who mostly works on agricultural
entomology focused answers on agriculture and, at times, I wondered how
much were evolutionary/ecological principles that govern agricultural
interactions on the radar. End of background.

Gratefully,

Jorge
