Lanworth, Inc., a growing Chicago area software and database provider, is seeking a Project Analyst. This position will be responsible for execution, management, and delivery of projects related to Lanworth's Agriculture and Commodities information services. Responsibilities will also include research and development and business development support.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in geography, environmental science, or a related discipline; graduate degree preferred. Minimum 3 years' related work experience to include significant exposure to satellite and aerial remote sensing applications, preferably in agriculture and/or agro-forestry. High proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), relational database management systems, and statistical analysis. Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems and common scripting languages. Excellent writing skills documented by reports and/or published papers.
