Hi, I just wanted to alert some of you that may soon come on the job market to a wiki page where academic job applicants can post vacancies for which they applied and get feedback on the status of those positions from others who also applied for the post. This past season we had literally hundreds of positions posted. Sometimes search committee members post results before the letters go out so folks will know (its entirely anonymous). Check it out and see what you think, this is the biology wiki, there is also a geology-earthscience one that you will need to surf around the wiki pages to find. Hope it helps folks out as it really reduces the anxiety and wonder.
