The position requires a working knowledge of human dimensions of wildlife management and the application of structured decision making and/or adaptive management to natural resource problems. The position requires the ability to (1) successfully interact with state, federal, NGO and professional organizations, (2) publish peer-reviewed scientific articles, and (3) participate in graduate level instruction and research programs. The incumbent serves as a member of the Graduate Faculty in the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences at South Dakota State University and teaches graduate courses in his/her research specialty.
