The Statistical Ecology Section of ESA is pleased to announce a new
award: Ecological Forecasting Outstanding Publication Award.
Background:
This award will be given annually in recognition of an outstanding
scholarly publication (peer reviewed journal article, book chapter, or
book)
-scale, volunteer-based monitoring
programs. Our team (led by Elise Zipkin and Leslie Ries) has gathered
and formatted the monitoring data and a processing platform has been
built to extract relevant climate and environmental variables from
appropriate databases. The postdoctoral scholar will work
