Louisiana State University Shreveport invites applications for a nine- month tenure-track faculty position in Biological Sciences at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting August 2018. A Ph.D. in Biology or closely related field is required, and candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching and the supervision of research projects at the undergraduate (introductory and advanced) and graduate level. Responsibilities include teaching lecture and laboratory courses in cellular and molecular biology and related areas, together with the establishment of an externally funded research program. Prior teaching experience and postdoctoral research experience are preferred.
