 including Vanessa Watson, African Centre for Cities, Marc Lemaître, European 
Commission and Marco di Cataldo, our Early Career Plenary Speaker competition 
winner they will be presenting on topics including: Planning and the new urban 
agenda from a global South perspective, EU Budget Post 2020 and EU Regional 
Policy.

Following on from the recent Regional Studies journal call for papers for the 
Special Issue Planning Regional

 the editors will be holding three paper sessions and one roundtable at the 
conference which will include some of the Special Issue paper submissions.
