Applications are invited for the 9th meeting of the Summer Institute in Economic Geography, which will take place in Ghent, Belgium, 8-13 July 2018.
A wide-ranging week of activities will include contributions from the following featured participants: Jennifer Clark (Georgia Institute of Technology, USA), Andrés Rodríguez-Pose (London School of Economics, UK), Michael Samers (University of Kentucky, USA), Kendra Strauss (Simon Fraser University, Canada), and Erik Swyngedouw (University of Manchester, UK). The local costs of participating in the meeting, including accommodation, are met by the organizers; travel stipends are available to those requiring them.
