A while back some one pointed me to a site that had a piece of software
that played back a lesson in excel.
The action on the screen mimiced the actions taken by the instructor,
e.g. the cursor moved, formale were typed in and there was a voice over
lay. I think the software was
Dear Members,
When performing a content analysis one breaks down the respondents
statements into their smallest meaningful units. This results in there
being more statements than respondents. When calculating the frequecy of
these units - is it more corect to use the number of respondents or

What is the advantage of such screen player over Power point presentations
(where you can as well have animations, sliding arrows, recorded voice,

There are, for example, multiple-comparison tests for tests analogous to
the Tukey's, Newman-Keuls, and Dunnett's tests for means. These are
described in Zar, 1999, Biostatistical Analysis, 4th ed., pp. 231-233.

well, the pp file is not a real movie file is it?
it basically does screen by screen but in sequence right?

We use multiple linear regression to perform our analyses. Because we

When you approach a limit, such as 100%, it is wise to consider what
you have as the DIFFERENCE, or 100%-X.
I believe the author that Ellen quoted was referring to MCS and, if so, I agree
with that author. IMHO, there will eventually be MCS software that will allow
high school students to run circles around what today's PhDs do with closed form
solutions.

We created a web training workshop site for SPSS using movie clips. This can

Oops! I have too many books on the shelf and I grabbed the wrong one.
Pages 231-233 are correct for the 3rd edition; pages 228-230 are correct
