Flash seems to be brought up as a problem quite frequently. I know that at the Edubuntu labs that I take care of (which have flashplugin-nonfree), it's a major CPU hog and tends to make Firefox crash. Has anybody tried Gnash? How is it? -- greg reagle | computer technician, system

Someone had suggested early that they use wine to run the windows version of firefox with it's plugins. Is this a better alternative? I do, but only for Shockwave. Flash works just fine with Linux/ltsp. I think we got quite heavy environment - both servers has 2x duo core xeon and 6 giga ram.
