Hello, dear Collab.

Writing to share with you some videos we posted today on Wiki Ed's blog
<https://wikiedu.org/blog/2016/10/27/new-videos-feature-ucsf-faculty-encouraging-others-to-teach-with-wikipedia/>.
Each one is about teaching with Wikipedia in some capacity. The two
instructor ones may be of interest to you to encourage folks in your
country to teach with Wikipedia, so please feel free to do so. The Vimeo
and Wikimedia Commons links are shared in the blog post.

Additionally, the Commons videos have timed subtitles. I thought some of
you may be interested in translating them (they're all about 2.5 minutes
long) and creating your own version with subtitles in your language.

The video about Wikipedia motivating students
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:UCSF_and_Wiki_Ed_Medical_Outreach,_Tina_Brock.webm>
has
English subtitles here
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/TimedText:UCSF_and_Wiki_Ed_Medical_Outreach,_Tina_Brock.webm.en.srt>.
The video about medical students reaching a large audience
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:UCSF_and_Wiki_Ed_Medical_Outreach,_Amin_Azzam.webm>
of readers has English subtitles here
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/TimedText:UCSF_and_Wiki_Ed_Medical_Outreach,_Amin_Azzam.webm.en.srt>
.

Wanted to share in case that's useful to you in your own outreach efforts.

Best,
Jami
