Open edX People, Ginko.1 is the first release on the "G" line of Open edX releases, and it is available now.
The docs have been updated <http://docs.edx.org/#release>, including Ginkgo release notes <http://edx.readthedocs.io/projects/open-edx-release-notes/en/latest/ginkgo.html>. Installation is the same as with previous releases. Start here to understand your options <https://open.edx.org/installation-options>. We have a new section in the Installation guide that details how to migrate existing data from a Ficus.4 installation to a Ginkgo installation. Thanks to all who helped test the Ginkgo release candidate. It went very smoothly, and your feedback was invaluable. As usual, if you need help with Ginkgo (or any Open edX release), the openedx-ops mailing list, or the #ops channel in Slack, are the best places to get help: http://open.edx.org/getting-help Thanks, --Ned. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General Open edX discussion" group.
