same problem last night - what I thought to be an hours work kept me busy
till
after midnight. Needed to manually re-enter all settings.
This probably doesn't help much.

Hello,
Do perhaps have an OpenVPN connection or an uplink with uppercase
letters or any special characters in their name?
If so you must change the the directory name (e.g.
/var/efw/openvpnclients/TEST) to a lowercase name
(/var/efw/openvpnclients/test) and edit the settings file accordingly.

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from
fulfilling the request.
Anyone else getting this?
I've also noticed snortd eating up nearly 100% of the cpu
