Has anyone in the US tried to interop with videophones used by the deaf that
are provided by Sorenson, ZVRS, or Purple?
The biggest problem in the US now is that deaf phones as of November 12 must
all have a 10 digit
I had a conversation with another Ekiga user who was usig version 3.2.6. Codecs
were SPEEX/H261.
Connection dropped after about one minute but I could hear him and he could
hear me.
This is an important step ahead in my testing of Ekiga.
I anybody using Version 2.0.12 available for a conversation
Today I was able to establish a connection between two Linux boxws on my home
LAN.
Both systems ran Debian Lenny and Ekiga 2.0.12.
The codecs used were PCMU/H261.
I received a call by a friend using 3.2.5 but was not succesful in establishing

I tried to connect with a friend who is using 3.2.6 in a Windows box.
I am using 2.0.12 in a Linux box.
The codec used was SPEEX.
He could hear me very well but I heard nothing.
Do you have any suggestion to troubleshoot the problem?

I tried connecting to 501 using Ekiga 2.0.12.
I was conneted with codec PCMA and could hear the welcome message.
It seems that my voice is correctly transmitted but I hear absolulutely nothing.
Is this normal?
What could I do to correct the problem.
