i install ekiga with aptitude this is the Version : 2.0.12-1+nmu1
i launch ekiga, i try to connect on from my sony system : cf 1.txt

Unfortunately, I do not think the problem is at our level...
Have you tried contacting eeepc developers? They could have a look (or
send one to us so we can fix it).
Now that's a good idea! I'll let you know if I have any luck

Also try changing the audio device :
- Default for input and output
- Direct sound card access for input and output

Hi, I'm a fan of the ekiga softphone using Ubuntu. Now I have an EEEPC (tiny
laptop) using a Xandros o/s. I downloaded ekiga from the respository and
installed ok. However, the audio reception is very choppy and makes the
programme unusable. In the config mode the audio is choppy. I have tried

If the sound is already bad in test mode, I would say it's the audio
driver which has a problem... Try to launch ekiga from a terminal to see
if it prints warnings.
