I bought and built two of Don's solar charge controllers (among other handy
things he kitted up) before he went SK.
For some reason, and this is most unlike me, I cannot find the schematic
... or indeed any documentation. It's not in my workshop file cabinet, nor
can I find it from web searches.

New in this release: An option for a Mini-K3 and KX3 Control Window. The new
windows are 1/4 the size of the previous Control Windows and have all of the
same functionality as the Full control Windows. The interface is ideal for
older laptops and PC's.
Also new in this release: Transmitte
My grateful thanks to Dave, N4QS Iain, N6ML, Don, W3FPR and Bill, NR4C, for
their helpful suggestions. The P3 installation is now running well.

After twelve and a half years the RTC battery in my K2 KAF2 finally
croaked. Not bad going. Makes me think that as a precaution I should
also change the same in my redundant K2 KDSP2 (10y) and the K3 (6y) the
next time I have the sub RX out.
Note: the KDSP2 is redundant only because I've dec
I'd take the K3/100, Lou -- assuming you have no
plans to operate QRP portable away from AC power.
The K3's receiver is more robust and there should
be no thermal issues if you decide to use any 100%
duty cycle modes. Plus one box is easier to deal
with, in terms of cables and such.

I already own both Don. My question was more theoretical in nature.
There is a practical side to my question as well, as I am deciding whether
to take my K3/100 or my KX3/KXPA100 combo on a vacation trip. Size and
weight is roughly comparable, and I have no intention to operate without AC
power. O
Suspect mostly packaging. I've wondered the same thing.

Dear all,
Just as a quick feedback : the Alinco DM330MVE was replaced by a much
heavier Diamond GSV-3000 today. So far the issue seems to have gone.
Last night I realised that just slightly touching the DM330MVE resulted in
a voltage drop most of over 5v ... Trying to set in manually to the righ
