[Elecraft] K3: FSK, AFSK, CW

If you have experience using your K3 with these modes, I would greatly appreciate how you went about it. West Mtn. offers the NOMIC, but I want to do FSK and that product doesn't make it easy. I'd like to switch modes easily, avoiding any cable swapping, if possible. I've looked at the

I just acquired a K-3 and have spent an hour  getting somewhat familiar. I tuned 20 M and heard a nice DX station at about S-6 using the USB filter setting. I realized I can only transmit CW with the mode set to CW. When I made the change however, I could not hear either the DX guy (gal?) nor
