So, I was running WSPR last night at 0.1w during a rain storm. While in
the middle of a transmit cycle, an out-of-the-blue lightning strike
happened in our neighborhood; no warning, no indications of impending
t-storms, nothing.

The K3

This was just discussed a few days ago. Search the list archives. If I recall
correctly, it has to do with a change in N1MM and the way it passes the
interrupt command to the rig. There was also a work-around proposed; again, if
I remember correctly.

I can't say enough good things about RUMLog/RUMped. Tom (DL2RUM) is very
active in supporting his software. He has added great support for Fldigi
into RUMLog, such as auto-import of logs from Fldigi and tracking of
frequency/mode from Fldigi. This was done literally in a few day's of work
by
one of these go bad?
Any thoughts and/or guidance would be appreciated.

I'll second that Alpha-Delta reference. Full band coverage on 40/20/15/10,
plus about 100kHz on 75/80, partial-full coverage on 17m although it isn't
cut for it, and some 6m as well. Full coverage 80m-6m with tuner...and even
160m, but the efficiency has to be terrible.
And easily handles 500w+
that weighed about a ton only
covered 7.0 MHz and up.
