I note working CQWW SSB with K3 and N1MM Logger that on 40M whenever I click
on a N1MM spot, the K3 drops out of SPLIT. I will also alert N1mm
reflector.

Ignore my message. If N1MM 40M spot contains both TX and RX freqs, K3 does
stay in SPLIT and QSY 's correctly. I was looking at spots containing only
DX freq when I saw the radio coming out of SPLIT. At any rate, be careful
when clicking on 40M spots during contest.

Strange behavior on 80M split operation. K3/KRX3 interfaces with BiggIR
vertical through LP-Bridge on 80. Running simplex on 3503 all is ok.
Running split on 80: RX 3503; TX 3505, the BiggIR heads for the hills
35Mhz!!! Somehow the band data from VFO B is squirrely. As soon as I go
back to TX
There may be a bug here. The key seems to be simplex or split. If I put
both vfos on the same 80M freq and leave K3 in simplex, SteppIR tuning is
perfect. If I select SPLIT and key K3, the SteppIR controller heads to
35Mhz even though both vfo's are on same freq.

WAYNE - I have received several replies indicating I am not alone in
receiving truncated Daily Digests. Comcast pleads innocence. Would it be
possible to put a size limit on Digests? In my case, some digests get
through - many do not. Last digest was 227kb. Perhaps they could be
released in 50
I have noted that my Elecraft daily digests are being truncated more
frequently lately. I don't know if this is an issue with my Comcast.net
server or some Outlook setting. Anyone else have this problem? I really
don't want a continuous stream of individual messages. Please reply offline

Can anyone tell me if the future installation of KDVR will also require
removal of front panel? If yes, I may wait for its availability to install
both items at the same time. The Elecraft website says KDVR should be
available following production release of KRX3 - whatever that means.

This is the week KRX3's are scheduled to start production shipment in
earnest. Is that happening? Update please.

Author summarizes (pg8): around 100 to 105 dB of total dynamic range is
about all that most people want. So, are claims of -138dB etc overblown in
terms of efficacy? Interesting article by G3RZP.

Eric / Wayne - This may be pilot error on my part as I have only had the
radio a few days but I noted a nuisance issue during the ARRL SSB DX
Contest. I was operating split vfo on 40M. Both VFO's were set to fine
tune. I decided to switch vfo B to coarse so I could qsy rapidly to an
