vco alignment-p 61 adjust slug L30 until voltage at R30 reads 6.0 volts. I
read 7.945 volts and does not change as you tune L30. I have tested +5V and
+8v voltage regulators.
Didn't see much in troubleshooting. Anyone have any ideas where I should look
next ???

Hi guys/gals -I am bldg away at my k2-100. I am doing align and test part 2.
I am somewhat slow cause I am handicapped but I am getting there. My ques is
does anyone know where I can obtain scotch type 70 tape ?? I have googled it
several times and can only find case lots--not individual
I guess I am missing something here. Why do the banana plugs have to be
connected with rg 174 coax ??
If I have to use coax is there a trick to unraveling the braid ??
I cannot seem to get the tips of the banana plugs to accept solder.
As always, any help or advice would be greatly

I am new to ham radio-jusr passed tech + morse in mar and will take general in
jul. I am bldg a k2/100 s/n 5437 a little slowly cause I am handicapped. I am

I saw a post a few days ago about this. I have a table mat with snap on
alligator clip. I do not have unpainted metal ground. How exactly do I do
this using a resistor and 3 prong plug ??
