[Elecraft] PBT presets for SSB filters?

I want set up my K2 with some selctable PBT presets and perhaps just 2 filter widths. I frequently use +150 to +250 Hz with my other rig for narrow 1.8kHz filters. I am currently just using the KDSP2 filter with decreasing filter widths and no offsets. What are K2 users favorite ways for

[Elecraft] SteppIR interface question

I hooked up my K2 to my SteppIR for the first time in few years and the serial interface is muting the audio and the S meter flashes solid on my basic K2. The antenna is tracking band changes properly in General Coverage Mode, Kenwood/4800, with the K2 interface cable. I seem to remember doing

Can I add the 2 new resistors (R4 R33) specified in the, K2/100 MANUAL (Appendix G) ERRATA Rev. C-3, December 14, 2004, without having to recalibrate anything? What is the effect of changing changing R4 from 100 k to 39 k in the High Voltage Bias Supply. Thanks, John K5XTX

I have recieved an overwhelming amount of info on antennas that may take few days to read through. There is some work to be done on my ground system as well. A little progress was made by adding one radial, which made my TT 253 happy on 20m. The K2 and TT tuner are indicating consistent

Don, I currently have the antenna attached to a good earth ground and will add radials for each band per your suggestion. I understand that radials can significantly improve the efficiency of monopole antennas. Should I try to add more then one radial per band? Thanks, John K5XTX

[Elecraft] 2.3kHz KSB2 feedback

I recently built a KSB2 with the now standard 2.3Khz filter configuration. I have been recieving compliments on the TX audio quality. Some have said the SSB audio is the best they have heard from a K2. The filter sweeps on Sectrogram show less ripple and more symmetry then my previous 2.5kHz

I put up a 125' long wire antenna at 35' this weekend. It tunes up well 10m-80m running directly to the KAT2. I am wondering if I should ad an unbalaced feedline and a 4:1 current balun between the tuner and antenna. Would this reduce potential RF in the shack or change the antenna's
