[Elecraft] Receive antenna connection
Joe Hoffman

I have a K9AY receive loop to connect to my K3. The K9AY box needs a RCA
phono plug. I'm afraid I don't recognize what the plug is on the KX
t; but you also have
to consider the setting on your PC line-in. And check the back of the K3 to
be sure the line out plug is actually plugged into the line out jack and not
the headphone or speaker jack.

positive. Instead,
set those undesired frequencies negative and leave the desired frequencies
at zero. I tried this on my unit and it absolutely was the case.

Hi Joe:
Consider the possibility of it being the software program you are running on
your PC in DATA mode. Quit the program first then switch to AM.
It's frequently a safe bet to blame the computer for anything that goes

BSET display.
So Frank's problem in BSET is unique to his K3.

Maybe it's a bug in the code. The sub antenna can be changed from the main
display only not from the BSET display.

e bandwidth for that one signal. So I'm basically using MixW to
autospot the signal using its AFC and then move the signal into the center
of the K3 filter passband.
I suppose it would be better if I fully understood what I was doing. But why

MixW reflector and found the suggested settings of:
RTS set to PTT
DTR set to CW
MixW now works properly in digital modes and will not erroneously activate
transmit if the K3 is in the wrong mode. It does transmit CW properly in the
MixW CW mode.

I see this working is to use XIT instead of split. I'm just not
a fan of XIT. So am I missing something?
