have a mix of excitement with the thought that even after all these months I
gave up too easy.

limited experience as a ham I have found resonant dipoles to be superior to a
G5RV. I have used properly cut dipoles that I made myself for 20m and 40m and

I am trying to get my K3 set up properly for remote and digital operations with
Power SDR and I am stuck.
My working conditions from an IT perspective consist of the following:
Dell laptop with i3 processor 4gb ram lame internal soundcard
LP Panadapter and 0204 soundcard
Running LP bridge, ful
I have a small Power Werx 35 amp supply and I use it all the time for the K3
and FT950 (backup). It is very small and excellent for transporting.

The VP6T station on 12m this morning sounded great. Nice clear crisp audio.
Took a patient hour or so to get through, but very much worth it since it is a
new entity for me (newbie here).
So far what I heard and not worked on for HK0NA was not as clear or loud the
past week plus. Probably propa
I have S5 noise on 40m and S7-9 noise on 80m with a hf6v vertical antenna. I
can almost live with the noise on 40m but on 80m it is almost not worthwhile
using. All my other bands are basically S1/2 noise level all the time. On 6m I
have a 15 db preamp and noise may go up to S4 at the worse.
