While setting up a dipole antenna tonight a question come up while discussing the tuning with myself: Which is the most effective antenna - understanding it will be matched with a antenna tuner, either the internal autotuner or an external manual tuner - a dipole type antenna with a resistance

, it sounds clean and clear. Sidetone sound good. All the menu options seem to work as they should. If it wasn't for the low output on 30 mtrs and the freq problem in the next e-mail, I would think the radio was ok. Thanks for any and all help, ken H
