I'm going to pass on the Heil Proset headsets and let the dx/contest ops
share their wants with you. I'm a ragchewer and net op and this is what I
wish you could provide as an option:
1.) A desk mike.
2.) A matching power supply/speaker...with a quality+ speaker.

I think the CW ops jumped first on ordering. There have been ssb reports
about the K3, but there has probably been more discussion about the CW side
of the rig so far.
I am going to order early next year and will only use the rig for 75 meter
ssb and some am broadcast band reception. I

have looked and can't find it in the specs...no doubt I've overlooked
something that is obvious.

Can I use all 5 available roofing filter slots- in my case the FM, AM, 2.8,
2.1 and 1.0 roofing filters- and also have the KBPF3 General Coverage Rx
filter module installed without losing any of the slots for the roofing

I've read many of the messages about the K3 so far. My interest is ssb only
and its receive capabilities. To sum it all up: From the ones who have
tested the rig in the field, how does the K3 do on ssb and taking out the
qrm on 75 meters each evening? Is it advisable to get the 2.8, 2.1 and 1.0
