K3 / 10 / Kit for sale. Serial number 4960. Assembled 12/20/2010. Up to date
firmware. Standard, 2.7 kHz filter. Only options are 1,000 and 400 Hz filters.
About 2,500 QSOs, mostly CW but some SSB and PSK. Works fine, no issues.
Includes original manuals, power cord, serial cable, parallel port

The price of the H mode mixer is about $193, delivered.
I am surprised there have been no comments on the value of swapping
out the original mixer board for the H Mode mixer.
It appears there is a performance improvement.

OK, so far I get the first pad to have a characteristic impedance of 70 ohms
and an attenuation of 2.5 dB. I need help on the second one as it is an
impedance converter also.

I read somewhere that the devices in the amp were good for 20+ db of gain. I
think there will be an attenuator pad in the amp that can be bypassed for more
than 15 db gain.
