I get the ERR KEY error message with all other items unplugged from the K3 and
a plug in the paddle receptacle that is not wired to anything.
All works well with computer and straight key connected. I must have a problem
with the paddle receptacle that occurred spontaneously.
Any ideas from
I had my paddle plugged into the back of the K3 as it had been for months. I
turned the rig on and got the message ERR KEY and I was unable to turn off the
K3 with the power switch. The rig is okay if the paddle is not plugged in. I
get the same error if I plug in a unwired plug into the
I am interested in listening to my K2 and K3 at the same time using the same
antenna. I thought there was a post about how to accomplish this but I cannot
seem to locate it. Can anyone point me to the post? or tell me how to do this.

I disconnected the antenna and the interface cable from the KAT100 in order to
try out a different tuner I recently purchased. When I turned the K2 on and

I am about to take a trip to Tanzania and have my call 5H9PD. Now all I need
is some advice on a computer program that will allow me to send CW and log

I have been using the KAT100 for about 7 months and it was flawless.
A few days ago I was operating and the electronic air cleaner on my furnace
sparked and must have caused a spike. That spark tripped out the power
supply to the K2. I have a separate supply for the KAT100. After resetting
On my K2/100 I have set the HI CUR to 3.5 but get warnings on some higher
bands. The manual says HI CUR should be set to at least 3.5. Can anyone
recommend what a typical value should be and what value I should not go beyond.
