Just wondering whether the KXSER cable is the same as the one provided
with the XG3 and K144XV?
If so, many of us allready have an appropriate cable and there would be no
reason/need to swap the KXUSB for a KXSER when ordering a KX3.
That also raises the question whether the KXUSB cable can be use
Eric,
Could you please consider 1920x1200 to accommodate 16:10 (more upmarket)
widescreens?
1024x768 = 4:3 = XGA
1280x1024 = 5:4 = SXGA
1920x1080 = 16:9 = HD
1920x1200 = 16:10 = WUXGA

There has been a lot of talk about the absence of "real serial ports" on
more recent laptops. Here is something I recently discovered and want to
share with you all. Maybe you can benefit ...
Not to lang ago I received a HP Compaq 6710b laptop. On first sight there
was no RS-232 output. With the
Hi Julian and fellow elecrafters,
Sorry for the late response, but I'am a slow digest reader.
I am at the exact same spot, also looking for a internal PCI-e soundcard
to put in my new pc-assembly. My mainboard does have PCI slots, but I need
them for other stuff.

Just a long shot, but I'm going to ask anyway.
Is anyone out there using his (or her's) K3 with a Codan 9350 mobile
antenna? Maybe one of the mates "down under"?
I have some questions about interfacing a K3 with the antenna's builtin
tuner.

Hello fellow elecrafters,
When ordering my KRX3 long ago I took a chance and waited to see what
combination of filter offset's I would be getting.
For the 2.7 kHz I have one offset of -.77 and another of -.93
For the 500 Hz I have one offset of -.71 and another of -.79

Hi John, Phil and others,
. Maybe they'll be offered by Elecraft .
Elecraft does offer replacement screws, allthough not (yet) as a
"complete" set. Look on the "Spare parts and Mod Kits" order page under
"Miscellaneous". You find "FLTSCRKT" with 10 screws for a dollar. It says
"for K1" bu
When playing around with the K3 (or should I say: during operational
education) I noticed something that haven't read or seen mentioned
anywhere.
On all bands (except 6m) I can increase the power up to 12.0W in steps of
100mW. With KPA3 on "Bypass" (probably the same without the PA) that's the

Just wondering,
Is there any difference between the "old" Elecraft MH2 (with Heil-label on
front) and the "new" Elecraft MH2 (with Elecraft-label on front) ??
Don't want to take them apart to see if the mic-element is identical.
Ron.
K2 #01194, K3 #00201, both with MH2
