A dumb question but are you sure you have a filter in that slot and have it configured right? I don't have my K3 here so can't go through the config but I know you need to config both sub and main for the filters. I had a similar issue and I hadn't config'd the filters in the sub correctly. Would

I've sent this to Elecraft tech but thought I'd post it here too. My K3, using latest firmware, fails the low power cal on 160. On all bands the power out doesn't vary with the power knob until the K3 kicks over to the 100W amp then acts correctly. I've tried, several times, the power cal using

I can say without hesitation that the K3 is sub par on 6 meters compared to other rigs below its class. I compared directly with an IC746. When we enjoyed a rare opening on 6 to JA earlier this year I was able to work a JA with the K3. Barely. And I say barely because the audio was cranked all the

I've tried using the dual PB capability of the K3 on RTTY but can never seem to get a RTTY signal through it to be able to decode (I am using MMTTY). No problem without using the DPB filters. So if someone has the time might you walk me through the settings you use for the K3 and RTTY? Roofing
