Hello Werner! On Tx, the DVR is injected into the Tx audio path *after* the MIC (or line) gain but before the Tx EQ. Thus, Mic Gain will have no effect on the level of DVR playback, whether recorded in a DVR memory or recorded off the air. TxEQ and CMP settings will effect the DVR's Tx

I would also add to consideration that most playbacks are to let the other end know exactly what they sound like. So adding any equalizing or processing messes it up. This would be an issue for me because hard TX EQ and fair amount of CMP are what transforms my soft voice to something with
