I don't use the dBV display very often, but since I last did many firmware updates ago it seems to have developed a problem. Very often, the reading is stuck on +99.9dBV. Sometimes, rotating the VFO B knob to select a different reading, then back to dBV, gets it working. I'm in data mode with the

Hello Julian! I don't use the dBV display very often... First, you need to select AFV. Once that is stable, go to dBV and you will then read dB relative to the AFV level. If you go directly to dBV, it is referenced to 0 so you get an over range. Enjoy! 73, Lyle KK7P

Julian, You moved too quickly through the AFV display. The way dBV works - it provides the delta from the last stable AFV value. Go to AFV and wait until the value settles down, then move to dBV and you should see a value very close to zero if the audio is close to what it was when you were on
