It CAN be done on the K2. The KAT2 never retunes unless you press the retune
buttong you'd have to tune your remote AT using key down, but that may not
be a hardship. I have a straight key wired up all the time anyhow. I use the
diodes trick and a stereo Y adapter to have the paddles and key

That's a very useful reply, Dan. I'd assumed that the K2 would re-tune
A few days ago I learned of a feature of the K2 I was unaware of.
Perhaps there's another one. Is it possible to configure the KAT2 so
that it is operational on ANT A, but switches straight through when
you select ANT B? I'm aware that I can tune up ANT B into a 50 ohm
load. The problem is that
