Just as I was all set to print the report for my files I found a gap. Sorry
Fred your serial number was left out for some reason. Mea culpa :(
That line should read:
K6DGW - Fred - CA - K3 - 642
I'll never attain operator 4th class status if I keep this up!

Hmmm... I seem to have my directions transposed. When the sun goes north
summer occurs (at least in this hemisphere). I should have stated: "However
the sun is already moving southward significantly each day." Oh well, I will
not earn a 4th class rating any time soon!
73,
Kevin.
Sorry Folks,
Fought my way back online again through the wild Internet connect given me
by Verizon. Last message should be titled Elecraft CW Net Announcement. Ah,
well, mors longa vita brevis.
73 all y'all,

Hello,
A correction must be made to the forty meter list:
K2VCO - Vic - CA - K3 - 0007
Now we have worked three consecutively numbered K3s: K2VCO with 7, N0SS with 8
and KI6WX with number 9.
Who will own the next K3 which checks into ECN? It would be nice to work all
of the test rigs out
WB5GWB - Jeff - NY - K2 - 812
Thanks for the fill Jeff. Hope to work you again soon.
Kevin. KD5ONS
Now QRT :)

Two errors in last night's report.
Russ - N9IV - was running his K2 at near QRP levels. I knew it was low
power so took a chance on it being his KX1. Whoops!
The next error was for:
Ken - N5EBD - running a vintage K1-40/20 with S/N - 34. Now that his rig
is getting broken in it is doing
Hello All,

The first error from my recent report is hot off the press.
Rod was using his K1 instead of his K2 this evening from Texas. He
reported fast and deep QSB. I agree, I caught the information on the
upswing ;)
So correct his info to read
On 14050 kHz at 2257z:
K5BGB - Rod - TX - K2 - 1126 =>
Two errors to report from last night's nets:
KD8NMZ - Paul - MI - K2 - 4818 is really => KB8NMZ
( I really need to read my records ;( )
And

Last night I worked an op who I thought was K2IU but from his own words,
"K3IU, not K2IU, name is Ken, QTH is RI and the K2-100 s/n was using last
night is 4181."
Just goes to show you what a little QSB can do in a coast to coast contact.
Hopefully I did not make too many more errors :(
73,
VE2 is not in Ontario :( Make that VE3CLS - Fred - ON - K2 - 1751
Sorry for moving you East Fred.

Hank K8DD has a K2/100. #850 to be exact. He and I were not linked up
too well due to the storms sitting somewhere in the heartland of the US.
Sorry Hank, your information is now in my logs.
Kevin.
