This is incorrect as regards to 80/75 - see section 97.305 at the link referenced below. DATA/RTTY are only permitted on the *80 meter* band - defined as 3.500 - 3.600 MHz (for holders of an Amateur Extra class license) at 97.301(b) or 3.525 - 3.600 for holders of Advanced and General class lice

One correction - data is not permitted on the 75m band, which is defined as 3.600-4.000MHz, only on the 80m band, which is 3.500-3.600MHz. 73, ~iain / N6ML On Mon, Sep 23, 2013 at 8:51 PM, Rick Bates wrote: > In the US, the entire band is available for data on 160, 80/75 and 30 > meters.

In the US, the entire band is available for data on 160, 80/75 and 30 meters. CW is allowed anywhere that the control operator has privileges. 97.305(c) http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?c=ecfr&SID=336ab7469b61ecbfa15086dbf1bf 2c59&rgn=div5&view=text&node=47:5.0.1.1.6&idno=47#47:5.0.1.1.6.4.157
