We had a good turn-out for the SSB net today (1800Z) on 14.316 MHz, including Eric, WA6HHQ, and Don, W3FPR. Most of the signals were good to net control, but some stations just can't hear each other. WH6S, Richard, checked in from Hawaii with a strong signal on the back of my beam.
We had good discussions about distortion/feedback and the indicated mods for the K3. There was also some discussion about an upcoming revised DSP PCB that will help with low frequency audio response. Eric was there to enlighten us. We ran about 34 minutes today. The net control station, NS7P, will not be available to do the net next Sunday. We are looking for a volunteer. It isn't difficult as long as you are positioned to hear most of the country and have a reasonably strong signal. Feel free to put your name forward.
