I decided to take my K3 up to the 40 meter phone bands this evening. The first contact for the K3 was with the Peter Spaeth, KX2X (Uganda) running his Elecraft K2 (I assume, unless he also has a K3 by now).
Not bad for the first K3 phone contact ! ..
