I took 12m Spiderpole with no questions and no extra fee. For smaller height
I use a light 7.5m pole that collapses to some 60cm and fits in a medium
suitcase.

didn’t take a spiderpole, but a Crankir, its bag just fit in my checked
luggage, made it to VP9 and back without a question .

I've transported my SOTA Beams 10M travel mast in checked baggage
internationally. It's only 27 inches and fits in a big suitcase. Never a
question., but I do pack it where it can be found immediately. I expect
you could take it as carry-on, too, but why?
