[Elecraft] Fw: Anti Static Mats

I would like to caution builders on that method - or the use of any fully conducting surface on the top of the work area. The chances where a short can occur when two or more voltage-live circuits come in contact with the fully conductive surface is just too great IMHO. 73, Don W3FPR On

They made me take an ESD course at work and well I have a few comments I feel forced to make. Forgive me. static mats are poor conductors which allow the charge to equalize slowly. Humans, in fact are not poor conductors. So the only purpose of the wrist strap is to keep you at the same
