[Elecraft] K-3 What is the + sign at lower right of display indicating?

2014-05-10 Thread Art KZ5D
Recently noticed this plus sign + at the bottom right of my display. Can't seem to find anything in the manual about it. What does that indicate and how can I turn it off? Thanks. 73, Art KZ5D __ Elecraft mailing list Home:

You have set QRQ On in the Config menu. Turn it off and the + will disappear. On May 10, 2014, at 12:45 PM, Art KZ5D wrote: Recently noticed this plus sign + at the bottom right of my display. Can't seem to find anything in the manual about it. What does that indicate and how can I turn it

In mode CW, my + LED symbol comes and goes when I change the Menu option CW QRQ mode. But I want mine on... I'll guess that it might also be used in USB/LSB to indicate ESSB, but I don't have the necessary filter installed to test that hypothesis. 73 Dick, K6KR -Original Message- From:

Thanks Ken and Dick for the quick response. Recently set the QRQ on in CW mode and didn't notice the + appearing. 73, Art KZ5D -Original Message- From: Ken K3IU kenk...@cox.net To: Art KZ5D k...@aol.com Sent: Sat, May 10, 2014 2:53 pm Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K-3 What is the + sign
